This four-acre lot began as a field of scruffy grass and dirt with a small vintage farmhouse next door to the owner’s estate. The overall project vision was to create a recreational legacy retreat for the entire family to enjoy for years to come.
BauerCombs created the design to be packed full of recreational activities that flow effortlessly from one event to another with fun surprises along the way. A beautiful curving stairway leads you to the secret shade garden where hydrangeas, azaleas, and ferns are featured. Beyond the shade garden is the outdoor lap pool and spa with flagstone patio and sunbathing area.
As you walk along the meandering pathway, more recreation activities are discovered such as a putting green and croquet course with cascading waterfall, multi-use playing field, and upper-level observation patio. For more surprises, the main path takes you to the lower half of the property that guides you to an outdoor sports court, multi-purpose field, spring fed pond, and beautiful gardens.
