I’m delighted to report that musical parks and trails are becoming a worldwide movement.  As a landscape architect and musician, I can’t think of a better way to bring communities and families together in a happy and entertaining way.

There are numerous benefits to adding outdoor musical instruments to your community park.  One important feature is that people of all ages and all languages can participate together.  As you may have heard before, “music is the universal language”.  Furthermore, I believe anyone can be lured into playing these instruments even if they have no musical talents or are trained musicians.  Not only is it fun, but playing musical instruments together with friends or strangers creates opportunities for social interaction among communities and neighbors.
If you or your community are interested in adding music to your park, it is best to work with a landscape architect.  They are experts in placing and arranging functional outdoor designs that are safe, fun and aesthetically pleasing.  Whether you’re at the early planning stages or ready to begin your project, contact BauerCombs Landscape Architecture and Planning to discuss your next steps.  Call us at 425-496-7772 or message us at http://www.bauercombs.com/contact.html.
