Our Design Process

Initial Meeting
 Initial Meeting: We begin with a free consultation to discuss your landscape vision and needs, design style, and construction budget. After the initial meeting, a proposal is prepared outlining the plans required and an estimate for design fees.
Phase 1
Conceptual Design
Conceptual Design: Design ideas, several layout alternatives, and colored sketches are prepared for your review based on information received during the initial consultation. Material options, color themes, and plant palette are also discussed and assessed.
Phase 2
Final Design
Final Design:  Following the conceptual design, the final design and plans package is prepared to illustrate the project in its entirety.  The plans package typically includes a Master Plan, Dimension Plan, Planting Plan, Lighting Plan and Construction Details.
Phase 3
Implementation
 Implementation: After the final design phase is completed, bid documents (bid sheets and specifications) are provided to you for contractor bidding. As an option, site visits are made during construction to ensure design integrity through completion.

Hourly Design Coaching: If you need a jump-start on design ideas and solutions, hourly sessions are perfect. On site sessions with our landscape architect provides you with design ideas, plant options, material choices and installation techniques.
