Ballarat Park

Project Description: Linear park and walkway connecting downtown to a regional trail system.    Walkways were designed to link the library, school, local transit, and trailhead parking to the downtown area.   Street trees and plants were chosen to match existing themes of the town.   Meandering paths were designed for interest and leisure. Other design elements included lighting, stamped concrete road crossing, parking layout, sculptures and trail entrance.  

Level of Services:   As a subcontractor to Inca Engineers, BauerCombs performed site inventory and analysis, coordinated with city/county and school officials, designed the park master plan and landscape, prepared a cost estimate, and provided a plans package (layout plan, planting plan and plant list, lighting plan, construction details, specifications and quantities list).
