Project Description: The project entailed designing an open space park for nature trails, passive and active recreation, parking and facilities.   A conceptual plan and presentation was prepared for the City in order to obtain grant funds to purchase the land.   The conceptual design included connections to a proposed railroad stop, proposed sport fields, educational opportunities and the existing regional trail system.   The presentation was written and designed to obtain maximum points in order to receive the grant.   Funding was granted and the land remains zoned as an open space park.  

Level of Service:   Site inventory and boundary analysis, conceptual park design, written presentation and slide show for grant application.
