ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Susan Combs-Bauer, founder and president of BauerCombs & Associates, Inc., is a registered Landscape Architect in California and Washington and member of the American Society for Landscape Architects (ASLA). Prior to starting the firm in 1991, Susan has worked for several landscape architecture firms & governmental agencies. Collectively, Susan has over 21 years of professional experience in parks & recreation planning, trails and campground designs, master plans, site planning, commercial landscapes, construction management, community parks, grant presentations and residential landscape designs.  

Susan has served as Vice Chair for the North Bend Planning Commission, has lectured at the University of Washington (Forestry Recreation & Planning Program), received an FHWA Award of Merit for the Interstate 90 Pedestrian/Bicycle Trail, and is currently on the Board of Directors for Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce.    top of page
